He was the first UK supermoto racer to use the innovative Circuit Equipment products and has been particularly impressed with the quality and strength of the P4 hand-guards over the 2011 season.

Lewis explained “Because we want our bikes always to look good for our sponsors, I used to get through damaged hand-guards on a regular basis but since we have switched to Circuit we seem to be only replacing the P4s when they become cosmetically damaged and so we have only used two sets on our race bikes all season. They are very tough and look good too which is important when the cameras are on me. I’ve had a few really heavy falls during 2011 and the P4s saved the brake, throttle and clutch controls from any damage at all which also helped me rejoin the race and score valuable championship points”

In his early years, Lewis Cornish dominated the British Supermoto Junior classes taking two Championship titles before moving on to the British National 250 S3 Championship which he once again took by storm and became champion in his first full season. Since then the teenage racer has qualified for the British Elite Championship and for the last two years has moved up from ninth in the Open and eighth in the 450 class to finish off 2011 in seventh and sixth respectively. He has also represented Team GB Junior at the Supermoto of Nations and has raced as far afield as the Australian Championship and the Stateline Nationals in Las Vegas as well as various European Championship events.  Lewis will continue to use Circuit Equipment products for his 2012 British and Southern Supermoto campaigns as well as several trips across to Channel to compete at International level.
